The subways that are closest to TSNY Brooklyn are the M, G, and J lines.
From the M and J (see note below): Exit the subway at Flushing Avenue/Broadway, and exit the platform through the Flushing/Broadway exit. Head west on Flushing Avenue 2 blocks, 0.3 miles, (the hospital will be on your left). Turn left on to Tompkins Avenue. The entrance will be on your right about 250 feet down Tompkins Ave.
From the G: After exiting the subway at Flushing Avenue, walk east on Flushing 1 block, 0.2 miles (a large brick building that takes up the entire block will be on your right). Turn Right on Tompkins Avenue. The entrance will be on your right about 250 feet down Tompkins Ave.
PLEASE NOTE: The J Train follows the M Line from Essex Street but does not stop at Flushing Ave during peak times. You may need to transfer to the M at Marcy Ave (southbound) or Myrtle Ave (northbound).
J Train Rush Hour Information: During weekday rush hours, J Trains provide skip-stop service. Skip-stop service means that J trains serve some, but not all, stations. Skip-stop service runs towards Manhattan from about 7 AM to 8:15 AM and from Manhattan from about 4:30 PM to 5:45 PM.

By Car From New York City:
Go over the Williamsburg Bridge to the Roebling St/Broadway W exit. Keep L to stay on Roebling St for .2 Miles. Turn L onto Lee Ave for .7 miles. Turn L onto Flushing Ave for .3 miles. Turn R on Tompkins Ave. The entrance is 250 feet on your right.
By Car From New Jersey:
To get to TSNY by car, take the Holland Tunnel into Manhattan and Follow the signs for Canal Street. Take Canal St to the Manhattan Bridge for 1.3 Miles. Stay R to take the ramp to Interstate 278 for 450 Feet. Merge onto Jay St for 300 Feet. Turn R onto Sands St for .2 miles. Turn R onto Gold St for 450 Feet. Turn L onto Nassau St for .1 miles. Continue onto Flushing Ave for 1.8 miles. Turn R onto Tompkins Ave. The entrance is 250 feet on your right.
By Car From Queens and Long Island:
Take I-495 W to exit 17 toward Brooklyn 1 mile. Follow signs for Interstate 278 W/ Brooklyn Queens Expressway for .1 miles. Keep L follow sighs for I-278/Brooklyn for 3.1 miles. Take exit 31 for Wythe Ave/Kent Ave for .1 miles. Merge onto Williamsburg St W for 400 feet. Turn L onto Kent Ave for .2 miles. Turn L onto Flushing Ave for .7 miles. By Car From Staten Island and Brooklyn:
From Staten Island by car, you will have to two options. Take either the Verrazano Narrows Bridge to Brooklyn, and follow the directions for Brooklyn above, or the Goethals Bridge to the New Jersey Turnpike, and follow the directions for access from New Jersey through the Holland Tunnel.
By Car From Upstate NY:
Take either the George Washington Bridge or the Taconic State Parkway to I-87 S. Take I-87 S to the I-278 W for .1 miles. Take the I-278 W exit toward Brooklyn/Staten Island for .3 miles.
