Directions to Trapeze School New York at South Street Seaport on Pier 16

Trapeze School New York is located at South Street Seaport on Pier 16, on the eastern side of Lower Manhattan. We are located right next to the East River, with magnificent views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Brooklyn skyline. Follow the links below for information on directions, transportation and parking.

These directions are a guide for major transit and driving routes within the local area. For the most part, these directions will take you to the South Street Seaport, at South Street, directly under FDR drive. From there, you will see TSNY on Pier 16, located between two historic ships, the Ambrose and the Peking. Check in at our front office, which is located in a turn-of-the-century Pilot House, New York Central No. 31.

By Subway

Take the A, C, J, M, Z, 2, 3, 4 or 5 subway route to Fulton Street.

Walk southeast down Fulton Street toward the water.

Follow Fulton Street all the way to South Street Seaport.

By Bus

Nearby bus routes include the M15, QM11, and QM25 exit at Water Street and Fletcher Street and walk toward the water on John Street until you get to the South Street Seaport. You can also take the X8, QM7, QM8, BM1, BM2, BM3, and BM4 exit at Water Street and Maiden Lane and walk toward the water on Maiden Lane until you get to the South Street Seaport.

By Car

From West Side, George Washington Bridge, Lincoln Tunnel and Holland Tunnel:

Take the Westside Highway (Route 9A) south past the World Financial Center. Follow signs to FDR Drive. Keep right in underpass and take Exit 1/South Street at the end of the underpass. Go right on South Street 6 blocks to South Street Seaport.

From East Side, Midtown Tunnel, Queens and Long Island:

Take FDR Drive South to Exit 3 onto South Street. Proceed on South Street about 1 mile to the South Street Seaport.
